Registration/membership rules:

We do not accept any anonymous registrators to participate on this forum. After initial registration, please send the required info as explained here for evaluation.

Posting rules:

Next to the general rules of phpBB- fora which you have to agree to be able to register, we listed underneath our more detailed forum rules.

This forum is a private initiative and is not public. The webmaster reserves the right to remove or move messages at any time. If you repeatedly infringe our rules you will be banned from posting. In posting a message you are agreeing to the rules explained below. If you do not agree with the rules, please do not post.

The forum is being moderated by the webmaster/owner and a few selected moderators. Messages will be removed or modified when our common sense rules are not being followed.

We expect our members to follow those simple rules. IP addresses, id’s and email are being recorded with your messages. If you have a (serious) problem with a certain post, please do not escalate by reacting directly, contact the webmaster or the moderator who will take the appropriate action to solve the issue, preferably in a friendly way.

Before posting anything in the forum, you should read the basic rules explained below and you should agree with them. If you don’t follow these rules, you’ll be warned or banned depending on the seriousness of the situation. We reserve the right to ban a user and won’t argue or debate about that.

bullet Bashing - repeatedly bashing the same brand, product, service or company will not be accepted. If you have a complaint or a problem, please report on it objectively, using supporting data and facts, avoid being judgmental.
 
bullet Be civil and friendly- anyone being aggressive, impolite or not showing respect to the other members in any way will not be tolerated. Please show respect to beginners, or less talented photographers looking for constructive critique. If you are repeatedly abusive you will be banned.
 
bullet Commercial advertising - Commercial website linking or advertising is not allowed. You will be banned if you do this.
 
bullet Complaints- If we receive several complaints about the same users harassing other users, those will be banned immediately.
 
bullet Cross posting - We don’t like cross-posting of messages, especially if it is done repeatedly by the same posters and/or simply contains an image or gallery link. Anyone repeatedly cross posting may have their cross-posted messages removed.
 
bullet For Sale – You cannot use the forum to sell or buy equipment/services.
 
bullet Glamour / Nudity - Please avoid such images in your messages.
Use common sense and good taste. Some pictures could be tolerated as illustration if they are artful, but even so, please don’t post the picture directly but just include a clickable link with a warning.
 
bullet Images of children - We absolutely do not tolerate any nude / semi-nude / voyeuristic pictures of children or related pictures. Anyone posting such pictures or links will be banned immediately and may be reported to the authorities.
 
bullet New forum members - Before you ask a question please check to see if someone else has asked it before.
 
bullet Posting pictures – Try not to post too many pictures in a single message or do not post several similar images, instead post a link to a gallery. Just be reasonable. If you need to post a lot of pictures to illustrate a point, you can also mention it in the message title.
 
bullet Off Topic - This forum is about photography. Avoid non-related topics. Off topic messages will be removed and repeatedly posting off topic messages can result in a ban.
 
bullet Question for the webmaster – please don’t use the forum to ask questions to the webmaster of moderators, use mail or a private message instead. Post like “Question for Stany” will be deleted. send an email instead.
 
bullet Site questions / comments - This forum is new, I realise many things might be improved, if you have ideas or comments send us an email.
 
bullet Software piracy - We do not allow the posting of any information like cracks, code number generators etc allowing piracy of software. Such posts will be deleted immediatly and the poster wil be banned.
 
bullet SPAM – please do not post the same message several times. Your messages may be removed and if you do this repeatedly, you might be banned.
 
bullet Legal ownership - Each message posted is owned by and the full responsibility of the original poster. Neither fotografie.fr nor its owners or webmaster are legally responsible for anything posted on these forums. The webmaster reserves the right to remove any or all of your messages at any time and ban you if necessary.
